Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event
What: In addition to its vast array of muscle cars, classics and hot rods, the self-proclaimed “World’s Greatest Collector Car Event” hosts fashion shows, parties, “automobilia,” and counts the rich and famous among its 250,000 attendees and bidders.

When: January 11-18

How much: $18 to $43 adult daily admission; $10 to $30 after 5 p.m.; $120 for a weekly pass; discounts for seniors, students, military and children.

Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction
What: Specializing in European sports cars, American muscle cars, hot rods and customs presented in an “auction-in-the-round” format, Russo and Steele is a high-energy event that kicks off with a charity preview gala benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

When: January 14-18

What: For the most discerning collectors, RM limits its space to only 100 cars, but 2008 saw approximately $30,000,000 in sales.

International Classic Auctions
What: Selling high-quality moderately-priced classic, highline and muscle cars, the first auction of the season has been at its 11-acre site in Gilbert for five years.

What: Silver Auctions offers an alternative to the high-rolling, fast-paced auction scene with a reputation for selling affordable collector cars in a low-key style.
