Not All Road Service is the Same

While AAA strives to offer a vast array of services to our members, our primary member benefit — and the number one reason members join AAA — is our emergency roadside service (ERS). Our mission is to provide high-quality trusted service to meet our members’ needs and enhance their safety, security, and peace of mind.

AAA sets the standard for ERS in the industry, and we take seriously our leadership in coverage, response rates and satisfaction ratings. To improve this service even further, over the past year, we’ve increased our light-service fleet by 60 percent. By changing tires, delivering emergency fuel, providing lockout service and performing other minor mechanical first aid, these new vehicles and their drivers have succeeded in getting you back on the road safely and more quickly. Each light service vehicle also carries the inventory necessary to perform on-the-spot battery replacement.

By getting you back on the road even faster, our satisfaction ratings continue to set the standard for the industry. Over the past year, 89 percent of our members said they were satisfied with the amount of time it takes to rescue them and our overall satisfaction rating was 95 percent.

While there have been and will continue to be many competitors in the marketplace, AAA is still the only service that offers all of these benefits:

• AAA covers the member, not the vehicle. This means you’re covered in any vehicle, even if you are not the owner or the driver. Think about the peace of mind this brings to parents of children who are covered as associate members.
• With AAA, when you need emergency service, there’s no out-of-pocket expense or reimbursement hassle – or increase in your insurance rates.
• AAA covers you for towing and light service (flat-tire change, emergency gas delivery, vehicle lockout, minor mechanical first aid and more).
• AAA membership pays for itself with discounts on auto and home insurance, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, attraction tickets and other products at over a thousand retail locations nationwide.

With all these benefits, it isn’t surprising that AAA still has the largest market share of emergency roadside calls in Arizona and across the country – by a significant margin. Our years of running this business have given us an edge in experience, which we put to use daily to serve you better.
