"Thank you so much for such a beautiful November/December cover by photographer Gary Bons. The new size and format are lovely improvements. The only problem my old eyes have are the fine-lined fonts. I enjoy reading your publication from cover to cover and just hate to miss anything." B.Phillips - Chino Valley

"After reading your revised magazine, I am wondering what happened to the travel-oriented game that was formerly on the last page of the magazine. I hope that you have not discontinued this item since it was always a fun game to do and the most enjoyable thing in the magazine. Please reinstate it in future issues." S.Algul - Sierra Vista

"Just FYI, my husband and I are enjoying the improvements in Highroads. Good articles, good information.  Thanks. " V.Schapansky - Tucson

"In the your recent article about Tubac (November/December, page 28), you recommended the Border House Bistro, which is closed. There are other good restaurants in and around Tubac such as Tubac Inn, The Stables, Nob Hill and so on. " B.Young - Tubac

Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that between the time the article is written and when it goes to press, establishments close or information changes. That was the case with this restaurant. I’m sure those looking for a place to dine in Tubac will appreciated your recommendations. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

"Speed kills.  AAA, as an advocate for highway safety, encourages safe speed.  Yet in your “Thoroughfare Faux Pas” (November/December, page 55) you join the rest of the media in seemingly excusing speed when you chide slow drivers in the “fast lane.” This careless term really ticks me off. The speed limit is the same in all lanes.  The outside lane could be called the through lane or something other than the fast lane. That designation appears to be a license for excess speed, and heaven knows we don’t need to appear to endorse that." C.Kentfield - Phoenix
