Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa
The Arizona Biltmore
Resort and Spa opened on February 3, 1929 and
remains center stage today as one of the state’s
premier luxury retreats.
Playing host to every U.S. president since Herbert
Hoover, the Biltmore carries into the 21st century
the extravagant decadence of the era that saw
its conception. A design collaboration between
Frank Lloyd Wright and his former student, Albert
Chase McArthur, the celebrated structure has
seen generations of legendary luminaries tarry
poolside or retreat within its signature ambience.
The celebrity clientele still runs thick, with
the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, George
Burns and Ron and Nancy Reagan giving way to
their modern-day counterparts; the rich, famous
and powerful continue to flock to this luxury
oasis. Garnering a laundry list of awards and
accolades, including AAA’s four diamond
award, the Biltmore has undergone stunning expansions
and enhancements while preserving its historical
integrity. The Biltmore — crowned
in its infancy the “Jewel of the Desert” — is
a legend born more than three-quarters of a century
ago… that lives to this day.
