Miniland Las Vegas
 Taking
a cue from its glittering subject that transplanted such iconic cities as Paris
and Venice into Nevada’s arid desert, LEGOLAND California is bringing the
entire Vegas strip to their Carlsbad, Calif., theme park – the LEGO version,
that is.
What is it
Miniland Las Vegas features the world famous strip constructed completely from
LEGO brick. It includes detailed replicas of the strip’s famous hotels
and casinos, a miniature wedding chapel and monorails built out of more than
two million bricks and representing more than 16,000 hours of detail-intensive
labor. The recreation also includes a variety of whimsical and animated models
enacting scenes that commonly take place within the city limits, such as the
battle of the pirate ships in front of Treasure Island.
