Duke, not Dude
In your article “Cashing Inn” (May/June, page 45), you mention a golf course near the Ak-Chin community and Rancho El Dorado development. The name of the course is the “Duke” not the “Dude” as you stated. It’s named in honor of John Wayne, who owned a ranch in Maricopa.

More on Hybrid Driving
I’m a Toyota Prius owner who drives 70 to 75 miles per day — a mix of urban, suburban, country and freeway miles. I have averaged 45 to 50 miles per gallon since 2002, when I bought my first hybrid. The secret is that the car forces you to alter your driving attitude and style. You will achieve the fuel economy you strive to attain. My wife and I are hooked on hybrids. We have four years of successful operation and reduced expenses, and it’s a really nice automobile. J.C. Harris - Surprise

Where to Drive
The “Scenic Roads” advertising section in your last issue (May/June, page 29) includes a short paragraph on a number of interesting roads, but provides no clue on exactly where these roads are. Where can I go for more information? W.Kaiser
