A
Grand Marshal for a Grand Parade
Every Parade needs
a grand marshal, and the Rose Parade
has had some of the world’s
most distinguished. In years past,
this honored position has been held
by the likes of Carol Burnett, Shirley
Temple, Walt and Roy Disney, Tom Brokaw,
Bill Cosby and Mickey Mouse, to name
a few. While the 2007 grand marshal
won’t be announced until October,
you’ll want to reserve your
space on AAA’s 19th Annual
Rose Parade Tour today.

Holiday Cruises
Why not celebrate
the holidays in a new way this year — at
sea. The calendar may show
that Christmas is months away,
but now is the time to start planning
for a holiday vacation. Leave
behind the stress, cleaning, cooking,
decorating, and planning that is
traditionally done every holiday
season and typically makes your
head spin. This year, set your
sights on a more relaxing holiday.
What better way to celebrate the
holidays than being pampered, relaxing,
and enjoying this wonderful time
of year. AAA cruise partners offer
holiday celebrations close to home
and far away, on ships adorned
in elaborate decorations for the
season. Imagine fresh wreaths,
poinsettias, Christmas trees, and
holiday cheer at every turn — all
without the work.
In addition to providing a chance
to enjoy all the holiday festivities
without lifting a finger, a cruise
vacation features many opportunities,
such as participating in foreign
customs and special worship services,
enjoying holiday music by professional
carolers, visiting with Santa, dining
on special menus, and celebrating
with champagne toasts on New Year’s
Eve.
A holiday cruise will prove to be
a memorable time for the entire family. Children
on a holiday cruise enjoy special
programs designed just for them,
including holiday arts-and-crafts
classes, sing-a-longs, parties, and
much more. Many cruise lines
offer the opportunity for youths
to participate in holiday productions
for all passengers to enjoy.
No matter what your reason for taking
a cruise, each line strives to provide
something truly unique for the holidays. Ask
your AAA travel office for the holiday
cruise that is best for you, and
then pack your bags for a hassle-free
holiday season.

Disneyland’s
50th Anniversary Finale
Like an ice
cream cone on a hot Arizona day,
good things don’t
last forever, not even Disneyland® Resort’s
50th Anniversary Celebration. And
what a celebration it’s been. Space
Mountain, a famed Disneyland classic,
has been reinvented with all new
out-of-this-world special effects.
Walt Disney’s Parade of Dreams
is larger than life, featuring all
of Disney’s most beloved characters.
But, all the talk is about the spectacular
state-of-the-art fireworks display, “Remember
Dreams Come True,” celebrating
Disneyland’s history.
If there has ever
been a time to relive cherished
Disney memories and create new
ones, it’s now
before the celebration ends. And,
when you book your AAA Vacations
Disneyland package of three nights
or longer and travel by the end of
the 50th Anniversary Celebration,
you will earn up to 25 Disney Dollars.
Disney Dollars are just like cash
and can be used to purchase food,
beverages and Disney merchandise.
That’s not all were doing
to celebrate this golden anniversary
finale. AAA is extending an invitation
for our members and their families
to join us at our Disneyland 50th
Anniversary parties being hosted
by several of our AAA offices. We’ll
have cake and ice cream, music and
games, and of course our friendly
staff will be available to answer
questions or help you reserve your
next Disneyland vacation. Dates and
times?
