TRAFFIC SAFETY
Valley Driving Schools Earn AAA Stamp of Approval

Statistics suggest new drivers are collisions waiting to happen… and unfortunately it’s not a long wait. Nearly two out of every five teens crash during their first year as a driver.
As part of its commitment to traffic safety, AAA is drawing on nearly 70 years of experience in developing driving curriculum to help families find driver-training programs that meet the highest standards.

AAA approval means quality you can count on. Our experts thoroughly inspect each school to confirm that the school provides:

  • Clean, safe, comfortable facilities with current technology and up-to-date training materials
  • Experienced driving instructors who agree to a background check and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • For in-driver training, late-model, well-maintained training vehicles with specified safety features
  • Binding arbitration in the event of disagreements with a AAA member
  • 90 percent or better customer satisfaction rating
  • Discounts to AAA members, if applicable
Who could benefit from driver training?
Driver training programs aren’t just for teens. Consider attending a driver school if you are:

  • A novice driver who needs to build skills and establish safe driving habits.
  • An experienced driver who has taken a break from driving for some reason and needs to review the rules of the road and refresh your skills.
  • Driving more often in high-risk situations, such as extended night driving or long-distance commutes.
  • Noticing a few bad habits – possibly in the form of speeding tickets, moving violations, fender benders or higher insurance premiums.
  • A parent with a new driver in the family whom you want to support by modeling good habits.
  • A mature driver who would like to receive an assessment of current driving skills and receive tips to keep you driving safely.
  • In need of rehabilitative driving instruction, due to injuries sustained from a prior crash or another medical condition.
