Provides direction, support and planning in the daily operation of the Insurance Sales team.  Responsible for the preparation and management of the budget and accountable for attaining the goals and results.  Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements. Defines, plans and monitors staffing requirements, work schedules and service objectives in accordance with business goals.  Responsible for personnel activities concerning hiring, training/development, and evaluating agent performance. Interprets, implements, and enforces company and vendor policies and procedures.

Minimum 2 years sales environment experience. Prior supervisory experience and extensive insurance product knowledge and service experience. PC, MicroSoft Office and related applications, 25 wpm typing, 10 key. Bachelor's degree or equivalent training. Insurance P&C license. Strong communication skills. Ability to recognize potential problems/issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Understands adult learning and ability to match training to needs. Strong decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to think creatively and demonstrate leadership in a crisis situation.
