Responsibilities: |
This position will supervise the day-to-day functions of the Insurance Call Center Phone Sales Agents and will monitor, develop and manage them to become successful agents in every aspect of their job. Our Insurance Sales Supervisor will manage a staff of 10-14 licensed, exempt call center phone sales agents.
Responsibilities will include:
- Front Line supervision and coaching of Insurance Call Center Sales Agents, with secondary coaching support to lower-producing Branch Agents.
- Responsibility for call and application quality, attainment of operational goals and communication including monitoring calls and work product to evaluate individual and overall team performance.
- Providing constructive feedback to Sales Agents in a timely manner.
- Coaching Agents with respect to sales skills, phone stats, attendance and work approach to achieve all objectives.
- Monitoring and managing service levels, agent availability and other appropriate statistics.
- Assisting in planning operational goals and objectives. Researching, analyzing and recommending process improvements and revisions to policies and procedures to enhance business operations.
- Responsibility for the day-to-day management of sales teams, including but not limited to; monitoring of attendance, scheduling of staff to ensure proper phone coverage, monthly and annual performance reviews and any disciplinary actions required.
- Participation in the process of selection, hiring and development of direct report staff.
- Counseling and developing staff with respect to career advancement opportunities and participating in the development of agents.
Compensation plan includes base salary and earned commissions.

Requirements: |
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an insurance sales call center supervisor with proven track record of success.
- Ability to supervise the work of others; including the coaching, mentoring and motivating of employees/peers to successfully meet objectives and goals.
- Some computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite; ability to prepare and conduct presentations for all levels of staff and management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence and develop capabilities of self and others, to build successful teams and continually improve quality and performance.
- College degree or combination of high-school diploma and work experience.
- Possession of all relevant Arizona insurance licenses (P&C/Life/Health).
