Responsibilities: |
AAA Arizona is looking for an Insurance Supervisor to supervise the day-to-day functions of designated branch insurance sales agents, working with them to ensure that they are monitored, coached, developed and managed in a manner that will enable the agents to be come successful in every aspect of their job.
Responsibilities include:
- Accountability for front line supervision and coaching of designated branch insurance sales agents to ensure sales, quality and cross-sell objectives are met or exceeded.
- Monitoring side-by-side customer interaction, live phone prospecting and recorded calls to evaluate individual and team performance.
- Providing sales agents with constructive feedback in a timely manner.
- Coaching agents directly to improve agent sales skill, cross-sale/referral opportunities, work approach and time management skills to achieve sales targets.
- Working with sales agents to build work plans designed to increase accountability, prospecting activities and ultimately sales results.
- Monitor and manage agent attendance and compliance with agency and insurance company guidelines.
- Assisting in planning operational goals and objectives.
- Researching, analyzing and recommending process improvements and revisions to policies and procedures to enhance business operations
- Maintaining knowledge of all insurance products, agency guidelines and state insurance laws/regulations.
- Working with designated team on career development and advancement opporutnities
- Participating in the recruitment and selection of insurance sales agents

Requirements: |
We are looking for professional candidates with…
- Minimum of 5 years’ insurance sales experience.
- 2-3 years’ sales supervisory experience preferred.
- College Degree or equivalent work experience
- Current State of Arizona P&C Insurance License
- Successful track record of sales leadership; team building and motivational techniques
- Ability to Supervise the work of others; including coaching, mentoring and motivating employees/peers to successfully meet objectives and goals
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to demonstrate success developing sales work/development plans to grow agent performance
- Experience with progressive discipline
- Ability to work extended/irregular hours to include weekends/holidays
- Ability to drive to various branch office locations using own vehicle.
- Must obtain AAA Arizona Membership Expert certification upon hire. Annual re-certification is required.
