Working under limited supervision from management, the Operations Trainer is responsible for the design, development and delivery of training programs. Prepares materials for new and existing training classes. Begins to develop and utilize instruments to assess the effectiveness of training programs. May serve as project lead on training initiatives to meet needs of specific business entities. Develops and delivers training for employees of AAA Arizona. The potential candidate needs to be flexible and open to travel between 10 Arizona branch offices (Phoenix metropolitan area, Tucson & Prescott) as the business need arises. The Operations Trainer will work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of a situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Gathers and applies information in the design of new and revised training courses. Reviews vendor contracts and makes recommendations to management.

Requires course development and delivery experience. Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. The position requires excellent presentation skills, tact and professional demeanor. The position requires analytic skills to analyze course evaluations, follow up surveys, and state regulatory requirements. Must have 1-3 years’ experience in training design and facilitation, course curriculum development and training needs assessment. Has established credibility within the classroom and is effective presenting to management level audiences. Background in Microsoft products required.  Experience with Viewpoint and/or AAA systems preferred.  Serve as subject matter resource within the department.  Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.  Training certification a plus.
