Responsibilities:
|
The Sr. Programmer/Analyst develops and implements state of the art information technology strategies and platforms with consideration for current and future business needs.
Performs all aspects of data analysis and programming including software evaluation and installation, structured testing of applications, technology platforms, security administration, backup and recovery planning, capacity planning, performance and tuning, research and evaluation of new tools and techniques.
Tests programs and systems using sound testing methodologies and gaining user sign-off on results. Implements high quality systems that meet user expectations for form, function, and ease of use. Considers technical and non-technical solutions to improve business process efficiency.
Must adhere to approved policies, standards and procedures relating to an object oriented programming environment. The actual programming content is not as large as the business systems and process analysis component.
Position may support multiple business lines as business requirements dictate. There will be a significant finanancial analysis component to this position,

Requirements:
|
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Management or related field.
- At least 2 years experience using an object oriented programming environment such as Visual Basic.
- dotNET experience is required.
- Experience supporting requirements of a general business area is required.
- Must have direct customer contact experience.
- Must have experience supporting accounting and financial applications.
- Superior technical skills are required in the areas of requirements analysis, reporting tools, object oriented programming languages and data integration.
- Requires effective communications skills in order to obtain, understand, and translate user requirements into a format which can be distributed as a formal IS specification.
- Must understand business and financial reporting requirements.
