Crossing Guard Appreciation Day
By proclamation of Governor Napolitano, the last Friday in April is recognized as Crossing Guard Appreciation Day. Every year, AAA Arizona joins Governor Napolitano in recognizing the work school crossing guards do and the importance of their position in protecting children as they safely cross busy streets on their way to and from school.
In the heat, cold and rain, Arizona’s crossing guards make sure children get to and from school safely.
Crossing Guard Appreciation Day only comes once a year, but you do not have to wait for that day to role around to wave, smile, acknowledge them or simply say ‘Thank You’ for the work they do.
AAA Arizona produces and sells certificates especially for Crossing Guard Appreciation Day.
To order certificates or request pricing information, please contact the public affairs department.
