AAA Announces Arizona’s Most Respected Auto Repair Shops
Phoenix, Ariz. June 13, 2007 – Motorists faced with the daunting task of looking for an auto repair shop they can trust need look no further. AAA Arizona recently released its list of Top Shops, auto repair facilities that were awarded for providing their customers with honest and reliable service. This year, the auto club is recognizing 23 Approved Auto Repair (AAR) shops throughout the state.
“We honor Top Shops for their integrity, professional standards, outstanding customer service and community involvement,” said Jim Prueter, senior vice president of automotive and travel for AAA Arizona. “This select group has proven to AAA that they have earned this prestigious award.”
All 155 AAA Arizona Approved Auto Repair (AAR) shops meet more than 20 standards that include:
- Providing a list of 200 customers to be surveyed on the shop’s service
- Staffing Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified technicians
- Providing a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on repair work
- Agreeing to binding arbitration if there is a dispute with an AAA member
- Annual inspection by AAA
This year’s award recipients go even further by:
- Maintaining customer surveys with at least a 90 percent approval rating
- Being actively involved in the community through service groups and charities
- Upholding an exemplary business reputation
“I have always strived to give my customers the very best service they deserve,” said Kelly Clark, owner of both Kelly Clark Automotive Specialist facilities in Phoenix, which have received Top Shop honors for nine years combined. “It is very gratifying to be recognized as one of the elite Top Shops in the state.”
A chart of this year’s winners is below. The number next to the auto shop’s name indicates the consecutive years the facility has earned the Top Shop award.
