Parents and Teens

Welcoming a new teen driver to the family can be difficult. That’s why AAA offers tools and information to help.

Keys2Drive

This interactive teen driving website provides you with specific information based on what state you live in, as well as where your teen is in the learning process — from preparing to drive, through the learner’s permit stage, to solo driving.

Permit Prep 101

AAA Arizona's free workshop teaches you and your teen everything you need to know about this exciting journey, from safety tips and Graduated Driver's License law information to statistics and driver training resources.

teenSMART®

This computer-based driver tutorial will not only help your teen become a safer driver, but it can also save you some money. AAA offers up to 24 percent in savings on your teen’s auto insurance for successful completion of the teenSMART program.

Approved Driving School Network

To help you choose the best driving school for your needs, we've done your homework for you. Each of these schools has met a stringent list of requirements to become AAA Approved. Approved schools in Arizona include Driving MBA, Desert Driving School and Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving.

Teaching Your Teens to Drive

This driving course is especially helpful if you choose to teach driving to their teenager yourself. Available as a DVD and workbook combination, this program consists of 13 lessons to help develop your teen’s safe driving skills.

Driver-ZED

This computer-based DVD software program helps teens recognize and avoid driving hazards through four kinds of challenges: Scan, Spot, Act, and Drive. The DVD puts your teen into 100 live-action situations – the equivalent of several years of actual driving.
