Day 1 – Budapest, Hungary... Queen of the Danube

A Delightful Day in Budapest 
Explore the city’s highlights and your own interests with your personal guide, an impassioned lifelong resident. Begin with a private car tour of Budapest’s historic monuments including Heroes’ Square, a handsome semicircular twin colonnade with statues of Hungary’s kings and leaders. Then ascend Castle Hill to visit Matthias Church, an architectural gem of intricate white stonework and mosaic roof embellishments. From Fisherman’s Bastion, you’ll have inspiring views of the Danube River, city skyline and the imposing neo-Gothic Parliament on the opposite bank. Budapest’s Jewish Heritage: Explore the historic Jewish Quarter and visit the Dohany Synagogue, built in the mid 1800’s when the Jewish community in the district of Pest numbered about 30,000. This great Synagogue is designed like a Basilica with striking Byzantine and Moorish elements. It’s the largest in Europe and has been restored to its original splendor.

Day 3 – To Vienna by First Class Train
A scenic first class rail journey brings you to Vienna where your private car and driver await to whisk you to the K+K Maria Theresia Hotel. You’ll be wonderfully situated in Vienna’s charming artist’s quarter, a marvelous place to explore on foot. The Hofburg Palace, great restaurants and inviting boutiques are also nearby. Meals B
Day 4 – Explore the Capital of an Empire
With the wealth of an Empire, the fabled House of Habsburg built some of the grandest monuments Europe has ever known. Explore this legacy as you tour by private car, beginning along the Ringstrasse Boulevard and continuing on to admire the perfectly proportioned Belvedere Palace, built on a slope above the city as a summer home for Prince Eugene of Savoy. See the famed Vienna State Opera House and tour the resplendent Schönbrunn Palace , where the likes of Marie Antoinette spent their childhoods cavorting through 1,400 rooms and meticulously landscaped gardens. Day 5 – Scenic Rail Journey to Prague , Czech Republic
Board your first class train for Prague where you’ll be met and escorted by private car to the K+K Central Hotel. Your privately guided twilight tour reveals the City of 1,000 Spires at its best, majestic architecture silhouetted against the evening sky. Discover Wenceslas Square and cross the statue-lined Charles Bridge to explore the picturesque Vltava River embankment.
