Day 1: Thursday, December 29, 2011
This morning is an early one. You will meet your AAA Travel Host and Tour Director, board a deluxe air-conditioned motor coach, and depart for the “City of Angels”.  On the way, we’ll stop for lunch in Blythe (on your own). After lunch, settle back and enjoy the scenery, watch an onboard movie, or catch up on some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Before you know it, we’ll arrive at our destination where you'll enjoy a private welcome reception with sandwiches and snacks.
Marina del Rey Marriott (5 nights)

Day 2: Friday, December 30, 2011
Begin your day with a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Then we spend the day at the J. Paul Getty Villa Museum in Malibu and the Getty Center in Los Angeles - educational centers and museums dedicated to the study of the arts and cultures, housing approximately 44,000 works of ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria art. Lunch is available for purchase at the museum. (B)

Day 3: Saturday, December 31, 2011
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we’re off to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for a tour and Lunch. When you arrive back at the hotel, change into your dancing shoes - tonight is the AAA Arizona New Year’s Eve Party!  Enjoy a wonderful meal, dancing, and our champagne toast at midnight - New York Time (!) (B, L, D-party)

Day 4: Sunday, January 1, 2012
Happy New Year! Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Then we head to Pasadena to visit the float barns, where volunteers scramble to finish the last minute details on floats that have taken a year to build. If we are lucky, we'll get to see the float judging, where the floats are in full effect with costumed personnel and animation. In the afternoon, we'll see the sights of Los Angeles on a city tour. (B)

Day 5: Monday, January 2, 2012

It's Rose Parade Day! Jump out of bed, have breakfast, and board the motor coach – we’re off to the 123rd Tournament of Roses Parade. We will be in our grandstand seats in the early morning, so dress warmly in case it's chilly. Following the Parade, you’re free to make your own fun. You might want to to go to the Granddaddy of all football bowls, the 98th annual Rose Bowl Game, or maybe you just want to get back to the hotel and relax. It’s up to you. (B, L-boxed)

Day 6: Tuesday, January 3, 2012
After breakfast, we bid farewell to California and return home to the Grand Canyon State, with a stop for lunch (on your own) along the way in Blythe. As we say goodbye, we head into a New Year filled with promise and our beautiful parade memories. (B)
